MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR (EQUIPMENT & BUILDING) -Tucson, AZ Mission of the Role (What you will be doing) The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee maintenance and repairs of production equipment, material conveyance equipment, and building systems. Key Duties & Accountabilities (Primary responsibilities & quantifiable metrics) Supervisory Responsibilities Assists in hiring and training of maintenance department staff.Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of maintenance staff.Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy. Duties/Responsibilities Oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.Evaluates machinery and building systems to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.Facilitates use of Emaint software to ensure machine uptime using predictive and preventative maintenanceEnsures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic machinery components.Assists with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects.Maintain and organize the maintenance areas and equipment in a clean and safe manner to promote safety and efficiency.Comply with all SupplyOne safety policies as well as OSHA regulations.Maintain a professional image for SupplyOne with internal as well as external customers and vendors.Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills & Abilities Above average knowledge of motors, gears, and hydraulic systems.Ability to weld for machine repair and fabrication.Ability to read blueprints and schematics.Knowledge of electrical wiring and circuits including three phase.Basic knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.Excellent supervisory/team building skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Emaint or similar software. Educational/Training Requirements/Experience (What your background should look like) High school diploma or equivalent required.At least five years of maintenance experience required. FLSA Status - Exempt Physical Requirements Must be able to traverse facility to diagnose machine and building issues and plan repairs or maintenance.Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed.Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
