Loan Servicing Specialist (Administrative)
As a Loan Servicing Specialist you will perform all administrative tasks for the Consumer Loan Services Team.
You will be responsible for assisting members in a courteous, professional, confidential, and timely manner.
Processes loan product claims and refunds including, but not limited to, debt protection and total loss claims.
Prepares and processes titles including lien placement, title follow-up, vehicle title tracking, and other loan services.
Engages in problem resolution for indirect loans determining the cause and following up to ensure there is a prompt resolution.
Routinely assists members, insurance companies, dealers, other institutions, and internal teams answering questions, identifying errors and issues, offering, and completing the best resolution regarding loans, title, lien releases, loan payments and other similar lending transactions.

Education/Certifications/Licenses
High School Diploma or equivalent required

In-depth dialogues, conversations and explanations with fellow co-workers, members and outside vendors of sensitive nature is a normal part of the day-to-day experience. Prompt, professional, and accurate responses are essential. Able to recognize problems and apply the proper solution utilizing knowledge of procedure or locating and following procedures in place. Discover and propose efficiencies that increase production and produce a better team and member experience.
Other Skills
Experience to include time spent in preparatory positions. PC literate. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel required. Experience with Outlook, Symitar/Episys, MeridianLink and CRIF platforms preferred.
Physical Requirements
Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
Working Conditions
Must be able to routinely perform work both indoors in climate-controlled environment and outside in sometimes inclement weather.
Mental and/or Emotional Requirements
Must be able to perform job functions under independently and with limited supervision and work effectively as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations with extreme accuracy. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of service with follow-up, empathy and discretion. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under stress of a deadline while adhering to requirements for extreme accuracy and quality. Effective 1.19.22
