Security Officer Responsibilities - The responsibilities of a Security Officer may vary from day to day. The following list contains, but is not limited to, common responsibilities for a Security Officer:
Foot patrols of the Coverage Area.
Monitoring access control and challenging those without proper identification.
Maintaining Lost and Found.
Escorting employees, guests, and contractors.
Monitoring a CCTV system.
Keeping an accurate and chronological account of your day (DAR).
Documenting incidents with an incident report.
Assisting ill or injured employees, contractors, and or guests.
Investigating strange noises or smells.
Responding to 911 misdials and actual emergencies.
Investigating fire alarms.
Dealing with power outages or power dips.
Locking/unlocking offices.
Crowd control and evacuation assistance during building emergencies.
Maintaining Severe Weather Check Log.
Morning/Swing/grave shifts open

Requirements
3 + years Corporate Security Experience
Active California Guard Card
Customer Service experience
Job Types: Full-time
Pay: $20.58/hr
