Manufacturing Controls Engineer (Finance)
Lead equipment controls concept development, prototyping, design, fabrication, installation, and testing.
Architect, design, and implement control systems for automated machinery and plant-wide data systems.
Work with internal customers to develop requirements for control systems, safety systems, and user interface systems.
Design and implement industrial electrical control panels.
Specify and implement various actuators and sensors for machinery, such as pneumatic actuators, vision sensors, encoders, etc.
Design and implement safety control systems for automated manufacturing equipment, automated assembly systems, inspection equipment, and robotic systems.
Generate and maintain engineering documentation and procedures for electrical control and safety systems.
Work with the team to manage the scheduling, specification, costing, design, installation, and validation of controls systems for automated manufacturing equipment.
Support builds of electrical panels, controls hardware, and auxiliary equipment.
Architect, design, implement, test and document software for industrial controllers, such as Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programs and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) panels.
Program and manage software for various industrial equipment, such as vision systems and multi-axis industrial robots.
Train machine operators and engineers to operate automated machinery.
Support maintenance and repair tasks on existing equipment on the manufacturing line as needed.
Support specification and evaluation of third-party machinery and equipment to integrate into manufacturing line. This includes building relationships with third-party vendors and testing equipment before purchase.
Make upgrades to existing controls equipment on the manufacturing line.
Lead design reviews and software reviews.
Design all equipment with flexibility and modularity to allow for modifying or adding functions as the requirements change.
Provide support for team members on projects.
Brainstorm and problem-solve with team members.
Perform other tasks as required.
