Assistant Professor, Child Safety and Integrated Care - Pediatrics, McGovern Medical School (Finance)
Position Key Accountabilities:
The Assistant Professor in Pediatrics Child Safety and Integrated Care will provide subspecialty medical care for hospitalized and clinic patients, conducting child maltreatment case reviews, and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions. To support the department's academic mission by teaching fellows, residents, and medical students. The candidate is expected to educate community partners and perform research and quality improvement projects related to child maltreatment, child safety, and other related topics. The Assistant Professor will be expected to participate in the call coverage with the other providers in the division.
Qualifications:
The selected candidate for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License. Candidates must be board eligible or board certified in Pediatrics.
