A successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Operates within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), position overview, blue prints, and work instructions
• Work from operations sheets and books, blueprints, wire lists, shop travelers, rework and repair directives, computer generated and other written and verbal instructions
• May require lifting and use of overhead hoist assembly
• Contribute to a positive work environment
• Generate, maintain, and follow materials pulls and assembly floor schedules. Move material and paperwork through to finish stores and maintain status records
• Keep equipment and surroundings neat and clean
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wire a plus
• Performs other duties as assigned

 
Mechanical Assembler II Duties

• Proficient up to 50% of Assembly duties in home department as it relates to the Skills matrix.
• Willing and proficient in assembling various products in another manufacturing department

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of assembly experience preferable and/or demonstrated ability, aptitude/proficiency


• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and written instruction to determine the form, fit and function of parts


• Adept in basic critical thinking, problem solving and spatial reasoning


• Strong mechanical aptitude 


• Familiar with the use of various hand/power tools


• Forklift experience a plus


• Good interpersonal and organizational skills


• Basic math skills


• Detail oriented
