Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer (Finance)

In this role, you will impact the creation of innovative mechanical systems and components that enhance the performance and reliability of our aerospace products, ultimately contributing to the advancement of aviation technology.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you will work out of our Boyne City, MI or Freeport, IL location. This role is eligible for a hybrid work mode, except for the first 90 days.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and drive the mechanical design process, from concept to production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements and specifications.
• Design and develop complex mechanical systems, components, and assemblies.

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

The annual base salary range for this position in both Boyne City, MN and Freeport, IL is $103,000 - $129,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• 6+ years of experience in mechanical design and development.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools, including experience with mechanical analysis and simulation tools.

• Computer-Aided Design Skills preferably ProE / Creo
• Electro-Mechanical design experience

• Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
• Experience with product testing and validation.
