Application Development Senior Advisor (HRIT IRIS) (Information Technology)

The Application Development Senior Advisor will act as part of the team for enterprise digital workplace/intranet (Igloo Software product) .Under general direction, develops requirements and manages small enhancements initiated by business partners. You will support enterprise wide initiatives, including communications campaigns, benefits enrollment, and company-wide townhalls. This person will be responsible for coordinating key stakeholders, engaging and training users on Iris functionality.

Primary Role Functions:

• Act as a point person/SME for all things Digital Workplace (Iris)
• Train and coach content creators and site administrators
• Manage vendor applications and oversee the vendor relationships
• Consult with Governance team to develop and maintain governance standards throughout the intranet platform
• Maintain the Technology Roadmap for the Digital Workplace
• Consult with key business partners regarding site structure, design, and function
• Manage intake of requests via intake portal
• Lead design and build of sites
• Make suggestions on design and navigation improvements
• Test and implement new designs & technologies
• Provide on-going support and consultation to business units and IT partners
• Monitor metrics via Google Analytics & provide reports to teams.

Required technical skills:

• Basic knowledge and experience with intranet software, social software and other web-based applications
• Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS (javascript a plus)
• Proficient in technical troubleshooting in production environments.

• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Using project software to maintain plans and provide status as needed

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of top-level business strategies and organizational structures

Project management experience

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 111,900 - 186,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
